H. K. Devonshire

A native-born Martian, H.K. Devonshire grew up with the history of his culture buried deep inside his heart. Indeed, such is the dedication and focus on all things Martian that its inhabitants have, H.K. had little interest in sharing his writings beyond Mars.

A chance meeting with Peter Prellwitz, however, changed all that. During the Fifteenth Annual Interplanetary Writers Conference, held on the Martian orbital station Bearden the two found much common ground, including a fondness for the other's writing.

From that point on, an exchange of sorts took place between each author's respective publishing house, and both have fared quite well, with Peter's work being well received on Mars while H.K.'s enjoys unqualified success on Earth.

There has been much speculation as to whether the two friends will one day write a cooperative work, but neither author will comment on the possibility. They do not, however, deny it.
